Spike is a huge, lovable, amazingly loyal dog looking for a foster or forever home. He is dog (with proper introduction; does great with the pack at our trainer's house) and kid friendly. His previous foster mom has observed that he tends to like smaller dogs better. Spike is eager to please, a quick learner, and becomes very attached to his person. He would love to become a member of your family! Here is what his foster mom has to say about him: "Spike is a loving giant and really great with kids; he has had no problems at the house. He is very calm indoors, never barks and does OK when left alone (I leave some music on if I'm gone for more than 4 hours so he's not sitting there in silence). On the outside his energy really comes to life; he loves to run and doesn't mind running alongside a bike. He does great hiking; the longest we did was 6.5 miles and he was energetic the whole time. He is such a wonderful dog who has so much love to give. His favorite things are squeaky toys, balls, and greatest of all car rides...Maybe belly rubs too."
